Each week Robin from Bringing Europe Home provides a quote and then you can interpret the quote via pictures, stories, poems, and more. This week’s quote is:
“Happy is the man who has broken the chains which hurt the mind, and has given up worrying once and for all.” Ovid
I captured this image while enjoying a cruise of the fjords near Oslo in the rain. This man didn’t seem to care at all about the weather. He was out to enjoy.

Wonderful photograph and connection with the quote. Thank you dear TBM, love, nia
Good one for breaking away
Good for him!
Love it! Thanks for joining in, TBM. =D
I’m looking forward to next week’s challenge.
Yes, if we can get to the stage where all the clichés come into play, you know – grab the day, just do it, today is the first day of the rest of your life, go girl, etc., – I think the world can be a happy (er) place.
That would be nice!
Yep … .the rain symbolize the chains, and he is breaking away. Well done!
Thanks!
Great selection! Thanks for the link, I subscribed to Robin’s blog–and hopefully will be inspired to play along.
Great! I can’t wait to see your contributions. I love how everyone interprets the quotes since there really isn’t a wrong way to do it.
I love the quote and photo.
Are you a person like that quote, TBM?
I try to live without worrying, but it isn’t always possible. I do believe in going after your dreams, even if you don’t succeed. Success isn’t the victory for me, the journey is and all the stuff that happens along the way, including the bad.
You make a great quote TBM!
I also think the same but couldn’t say it as good as you. the journey is the most important of all….the journey makes great memory.
Thanks Novroz…your’re right. The journey is key to life.
What a great quote…and a great photo to go with it! It’s so nice to feel carefree and not worry about the rain.
I really liked the quote and this image popped into my head when I read it. Thanks Fergiemoto.
