What a difference

Before we left for our trip spring started to make an appearance. When I returned this week I was stunned by the change in Brompton Cemetery, where Miles and I walk a couple times a week. I think it’s safe to say that spring has sprung in London and I almost missed it.

Beautiful spring photos! Glad spring finally arrived for you.
Spring finally arrived, and then summer. We had a day this week that broke the record high (93F degrees), and then the next day tied the record high. Now it’s getting back down to cooler weather. Such a roller coaster.

I used to spend parts of my summer in Salt Lake and I remember the heat. Boy it was hot there. I hope the weather levels out for you soon.

Beautiful! Spring is so late here in MN. Nothing has bloomed yet and the trees are finally getting full. It is a month to six weeks behind. Can’t wait for our lovely flowers!

    • TBM says:

I do hope you share when they arrive. I’ve never been to MN and I love seeing your photos from there. Of course it spurs the travel bug in me.

I think people don’t know how incredibly beautiful it is here and how awesome Minneapolis is. Most just think of the cold but it really is an awesome place to live! Plus if you head north towards Canada, there are the boundary waters canoe and wilderness area which is completely untouched by man and sensational. šŸ™‚ If you and your wife ever make it to MN, of course I’d show you around! šŸ™‚

      • TBM says:

I’ll take you up on that offer if we do make it over. It sounds and looks like a wonderful place to explore.

  15. aFrankAngle says:

Cheers to your return to blooms!

  16. Caroline says:

It looks so lush and green.
I’m sure little Miles is happy to have you back. šŸ™‚

  17. Talk about rest in peace – this cemetery is lovely. It looks very natural with the foliage, rather than tightly manicured the way most cemeteries are kept. And they don’t mind dogs!
Even though Miles won’t smile for the camera, he does always give the camera his good side. šŸ™‚

    • TBM says:

I love this cemetery. they only have the staff to maintain 25% of it at a time so they slowly work through it and trim. Most of the time it’s overgrown and I like the look. Dogs are allowed on the side where they don’t hold funerals. It you take your dog on the wrong side you can get a ticket.

  18. I love it when Miles makes an appearance. The flowers aren’t too bad either šŸ˜‰
